Made in Portland

Joe Brown began making quality leather goods just over a decade ago when he lost his wallet and decided to make a new one for himself.  He is a self-taught leather worker and extremely knowledgeable on leather, hardware, and how to make a quality product.  Most of his leather goods are made using Horween leather, English bridal leather, and Hermann Oak leather.  He hand stitches almost everything he makes because it makes the stitching stronger than it would if done by a machine. (It also looks much better and he gets a lot of satisfaction out of a nice, consistent stitch.)  His products can last a lifetime if properly maintained.

phi. currently offers a various selection of Joe's leather goods, including purses, belts, wallets, and bracelets.  Joe is currently available for custom work and can be contacted through his Instagram or Etsy accounts:
